The path to becoming this specialized is difficult and takes years. Dr. Corpodian first became a dentist by spending four years at NYU College of Dentistry, graduating at the top of his class, before completing three more years of full-time orthodontic residency at NYU. Dr. Ghowsi graduated at the top of his class from the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry and is a published, award-winning researcher in orthodontics. Both doctors then went through a rigorous exam process to become Board-Certified Orthodontists — something that less than half of all orthodontists accomplish. It is an exam that, through rigorous testing amongst top orthodontists in the field, further separates the quality of standard amongst orthodontists.
